Sanbona’s Elusive 11

On Mandela Day, 17 Sanbona staff came together to help clean up the surrounding environment outside of the reserve.

They spent almost 4 hours cleaning the road verges from Sanbona’s Western gate until the end of the boundary on the Ouberg Pass Road. They collected a vehicle load of glass bottles, cans, plastic bottles, boxes, papers, metal pieces and many more discarded items.

All the Sanbona staff that were involved were enthusiastic and indeed shocked by the end of the morning to see how much they had gathered on such a short distance.

We hope this initiative will continue and filter through to the community to keep our world clean. To reduce, re-use and recycle.
