We have visited luxury bush camps all over Southern Africa so we were a little apprehensive when we found something so convenient to Cape Town and at a very reasonable price. Hands down an experience of a lifetime and Sanbona Wildlife Reserve helped in delivering that experience.
It’s simple, everything about this reserve is great. One of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in, food is exquisite, wine selection is great, staff absolutely wonderful.

GEM IN THE KAROO
Our ranger Marco, was not only a wealth of knowledge but made sure we found the game we came to see. SANBONA WILDLIFE RESERVE IS A MUST SEE WHILE VISITING THE WESTERN CAPE
The family lodge we stayed at was fantastic. Staff really friendly and the rooms were 5 star with lots of local paintings and sculptures. Our ranger Brenda was superb and very knowledgeable. Great place!!! Safari was awesome! Our ranger Chélee brought us around to see the various animals, choosing the best place to enjoy wildlife. She has been great, professional and explained us various details about the animals we were seeing. The whole personnel has been kind and helpful. Sanbona exceeded all expectations, amazing staff stunning accommodation, gorgeous food and wine. Nico was the Ranger taking me on game drives, he was fantastic. 10/10 Exceptional. A must see.
